A mediumship reading is conducted between the Medium and the living person seeking answers.
Sometimes a deceased person or spirit will come through and sometimes not. It is even possible for an entity to present themselves.
At the beginning of the session, the person seeking the answers should have a clear idea of what they are looking for and be open to receiving information from the session. If that person who is seeking information is unsure or frightened of what may show up then it could have an effect the outcome of the reading.
Mediums have the ability to receive information in many different ways.
Some Mediums are clairvoyance which is the ability to receive information visually meaning they can either receive mental images and or see spirits and entities.
Some Mediums are clairaudient meaning that they can hear messages.
There is also the possibility that they are Clairsentience which is the ability to feel emotions, sensations even physical issues with either the living person or the deceased.
Claircognizance is another sense and that is the ability to have a knowing of information without having a reason for this knowledge.
There are three other “Clairs” that are not as common and they are clairalience, clairgustance and clairtangency.
Clairalience is the ability to smell something for the decease.
Clairgustance is the ability to taste something that the decease used to eat or smoking.
Clairtangency is the ability to receive information by touching an object once belonging to the deceased.
As a medium, I have the ability of all of the “Clairs” but tend to rely on the first four above mentioned.
Sometimes people don’t fully understand the information that comes through in a session. This could be for several reasons.
One reason may be that so much information can come through in a session that it can be very emotional and that could temporarily block the memory. Often times the deceased has a message for another loved one who isn’t at the reading and they know that you will discuss the session with that person and then the message will be received and make sense.
I always record my sessions and then send the recording to the person who made the appointment. This way the receiver can go back and listen to the recording at any time and have the time to fully digest what took place.
